Please join us as we welcome four new Regional Advisors! These regional advisors will act as mentors and representatives for their designated regional chapters, will present proposals to the APA’s Board of Directors, and will work together on special projects as the Board of Advisors.
Region 1 Advisor, Martha Baxter
Martha is currently the Treasurer for the Dallas Chapter and is a former Texas Payroll Conference President. At the national level she has served on the Government Relations Task Force, Social Networking Committee, and the Strategic Payroll Leadership Task Force. Region 2 Advisor, Charlotte Hodges, CPP
Charlotte is a former President and Communications Coordinator for the Washington Metropolitan Area Chapter and is currently the Education Director. She also regularly volunteers as a Local Administrator for various APA seminars in the D.C. area and currently serves on the APA Education Grant Committee, Hotline Referral Service, and Strategic Payroll Leadership Task Force. Region 6 Advisor, Nicole Orr, CPP
Nicole is a former President of the Westchester New York Chapter. She is also very involved with the APA on the national level and currently serves on the Board of Contributing Writers, the Government Relations Task Force, the National Speakers Bureau, the Social Networking Committee, and the Strategic Payroll Leadership Task Force. She is the Payroll and Tax Compliance Director at Pace University and can be reached at norr@pace.edu.
Region 7 Advisor, Kevin Valuet, CPP
Kevin is currently serving as President of the Northstar Chapter and has additional experience with organizing statewides. He is also involved with the APA on the national level and currently serves on the Certification Item Development Task Force, the Government Relations Task Force, the Chapter Recognition Committee, the Hotline Referral Service, the Strategic Payroll Leadership Task Force, the Social Networking Committee and is an APA Representative to the IRS Advisory Council and the IRS Security Summit. He is the Director of Payroll at IPS Enterprises, Inc. and can be reached at kevinvaluet@gmail.com.
