Payroll Source Power Hour 1Learn how to become a payroll sleuth and find the answers you need at the “Payroll Source Plus Demonstration and Q&A” during the Power Hour Workshop Session on Tuesday, May 15, from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.

During the workshop, you’ll learn more about the features of the American Payroll Association’s (APA) Payroll Source Plus, the online payroll compliance and research ready library on the APA Bookshelf. This session will provide a demonstration of each system feature, with time for questions and answers from the audience.

The APA’s Steve Hodgson, CPP, CPLP, Director of Payroll Training, and Laura Lough, Esq., Director of Publications, will conduct the live demonstration of Payroll Source Plus. The online product suite includes:

  • The Payroll Source® (updated version and study guide version)
  • Federal Payroll Tax Laws & Regulations
  • Federal Payroll Non-Tax Laws & Regulations
  • APA’s Guide to State Payroll Laws
  • PayState Update newsletter
  • Payroll Currently newsletter (an APA membership benefit)

Payroll Source Power Hour 2The demonstration will show the features of Payroll Source Plus, including how to access the publications on My Bookshelf, log in and out of the library from various devices, navigate the e-reader and use sidebar tools, link to other books on the APA Bookshelf, download a PDF of the newsletters and The Payroll Source® study guide, print the publications and newsletters, and use the search and advanced search features. Plus, attendees will learn about multi-user discounts and more.

If you cannot attend the Power Hour Workshop Session, or have more questions about Payroll Source Plus, be sure to stop by the APA’s Solution Center, booth #648, in the Expo. There the APA’s professional publications will be on display, and there will be a demonstration station set up for Payroll Source Plus. Members of the APA’s Editorial and Education Divisions will be on hand to show you the product and answer any of your questions. You can also view an APA Bookshelf Tutorial any time you wish.
