The new Professional Development Lounge at Congress this week will give attendees the opportunity to gain some valuable professional insight from career experts, take professional portraits to update their APA profiles, and more, throughout the week.
Over in the Bogart & Co. area of the Long Beach Convention Center, attendees can meet with career experts to help enhance their résumés and social media presence. They can also meet with an APA staffer to update their member profile.
The Professional Development Lounge will also afford visitors a chance to talk with career coaches, update their professional headshots, unwind with food and beverages available for purchase at the Bogart’s Concession Stand, and much more.
Hours for the Professional Development Lounge are as follows:
- Tuesday, May 14 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, May 15 from 1 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
- Thursday, May 16 from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
- Friday, May 17 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
