Need a quick transport around Long Beach, or just looking to take a scenic route after all of your workshops are done? Try one of these public transportation methods during your time this week at the APA’s 37th Annual Congress:
- The Passport Shuttle is a free transportation service that loops around Long Beach’s most popular downtown attractions and destinations, including the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center where this year’s Congress is being held. The shuttle makes stops every 15 minutes from 5:00 a.m. to midnight.
- The Metro Blue Line, Los Angeles County’s first light rail transit system, helps you explore even further. It runs from 7th Street in Downtown Los Angeles to Long Beach. Prices vary between $1.75 for one-way trips to $7 for a day pass.
- Water taxies, the AquaBus, and the AquaLink run seven days a week. The AquaBus runs between the Queen Mary, Shoreline Village, and more for $1 each way, while the AquaLink runs between the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific and Alamitos Bay Landing for $5.
