The American Payroll Association was recently named a winner in the 2017 International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE) Art of the Show Competition. APA's Congress Today took first place in the Show Daily (Under 75K) category.

This year, APA made some big changes to Congress Today from years past, including condensing the publication to a three-day newspaper and introducing a new blog for daily articles and information live from Congress.

"The team has worked really hard to provide an updated way for attendees to receive their convention information," said Christine Avery, Director of APA's Membership Publications. "We also wanted to give non-attendees a way to see what our Annual Congress is all about. The combined tools of an onsite magazine and an online blog do just that."

The APA will be recognized at the IAEE's Annual Meeting & exhibition called Expo! on November 28-30 in San Antonio. AIEE also features APA on its website in the winner's gallery.

"This is an exciting time for us," Avery said. "I'm glad IAEE saw that this combined strategy was a win-win for our event."
