Companies Give Employees Options at Payroll Technology Solutions Stage

The Congress Expo’s Payroll Technology Solutions Stage became the platform for various payroll companies to pitch their wares this afternoon. TBD, Immedis, rapid!Pay, and EPAY Systems all made presentations on the options employees have today to get paid.

It isn’t enough anymore to hand employees a paper paycheck. Millennials want choice in how they get paid. There are more options than just direct deposit to a checking account.

Many young people don’t have traditional bank accounts and we are starting to seee payroll companies launching various payroll systems that assure they are in compliance with regulators. They are also offering employees a choice in how to get paid. Do you want your paycheck automatically loaded on a debit card with notifications via smart phone and email notification with your balance and other paycheck information? Or do you want to do it the “old-fashioned” way and transfer your paycheck to a checking account?
