Cheers erupted during tonight’s Chapter Exchange when the Atlanta Chapter of the APA was announced as Chapter of the Year 2017.
A robust National Payroll Week® (NPW) campaign, widespread member involvement, and care for its community led Atlanta to the top of the list, said APA Chapter Relations Manager Elizabeth Herrera.
Chapter Recognition Committee members praised the Atlanta Chapter for offering study groups on different schedules and in different locations, offering members options for paying membership dues, maintaining a strong social media presence, and tying its meetings to APA themes.
Atlanta took second place in 2016 and last took Chapter of the Year honors in 1996.
