Categories Revealed for the 2021 Congress Xstream Costume Contest

It’s almost time for the annual Congress Costume Contest! Any Congress Xstream registrant can participate in the competition from the comfort of their home and be eligible for recognition during APA’s virtual Congress Xstream party! Check out the four categories below and how you can enter:

 

Best Copycat

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so recreate a photo, painting, or movie scene that you love! Submit the reference photo with your entry for comparison.

Perfect Pair

Find a partner and dress up as two people or things that just go together! From famous couples to peanut butter and jelly, use your creativity to show off a perfect match of costumes. For long-distance pairs, feel free to edit your costume photos together!

Payroll Favorite

Beyond payroll itself, what do payroll professionals love? Show us something that makes you smile with a creative costume.

Wordplay Wonder

Take inspiration from any idiom or phrase related to love or hearts to create a clever wordplay costume! For example - “wear your heart on your sleeve”.

Contest Rules:

  • Participants must be registered for Congress Xstream to receive recognition. However, friends or family members of a CX registrant may participate with them for their entry.
  • Duo or group entries may be submitted as multiple photos or combined photos if participants are unable to meet in person.
  • The photos should not include any added text, graphics, or significant editing.

Entries should be submitted through the Congress Xstream website by Tuesday, May 4.
